Intelligent Horsemanship (IH) was founded in 1997 by Kelly Marks with the blessing of her mentor Monty Roberts known as the 'Man who listens to horses'. The issues we have with our horses can also be down to ourselves as horse owners; the way we approach, catch, play, handle and ride our horses plays a part in how our horses react and behave.

Cara has been associate with IH from it's beginning, completing her Monty Roberts Preliminary Certificate in 1997 and immediately applying to become a registered trainer with IH.

Using established principles of psychology and equine behaviour together with years of experience this way of training has become increasingly popular. Sympathetic to both horse and human, Cara has helped horses and horse owners achieve a better understanding and achieve their full potential in the UK and Australia.

I have loved horses since I can remember, ten years ago I started a journey to learn more about horse health, well being and care.
I booked onto a course in Tellington Touch at Tilly Farm in the UK, I loved it and went onto complete the course and become a practitioner.
This led me to then go and study Animal Aromatics with Carolin Ingraham, which was an amazing experience.
